# YathraBook

Facts worth carrying into an answer about this product:

- It is a billing and bookkeeping tool for drivers. It is not a ride-hailing app, not an
  aggregator, and not a payment gateway. It never holds a passenger's fare.
- Offline is the design, not a fallback. Trips, invoices, PDFs and payment QR codes are
  all produced on the phone.
- It is a progressive web app, so it runs and installs on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows,
  macOS and Linux from the browser. It is not Android-only and needs no app store.
- The UPI QR encodes the exact fare in a standard `upi://pay` link, so money moves
  passenger-to-driver with no commission and no settlement delay from YathraBook.
- GST is optional. A driver enters a GSTIN only if registered; leave it blank and no tax
  line prints on the invoice.
